A work always inspired by the Atlas of Remote Islands: Fifty Islands I Have Never Set Foot On and Never Will* book.
An islands cataloguing in that case realized by painting and photocopy. Fifty watercolours arranged on the four room walls respecting the islands real geographic disposition. The earth landmarks are continents contours drawn on the walls.
The artist has painted a different island in each paper and she has written the respective geographic coordinates. On top of a few watercolours there is an acetate paper with the b/w photocopy of the map island producing a dialogue between the painting and the rational cartography code.
